Probably the most famous loch in Scotland, Loch Ness is the largest body of fresh water in the UK. It is 700 meters deep and is located on a fault line with different titanic plates on either side of the loch. Also just recently a massive Salmon was caught on the River Ness which could have been a record breaker.
