Hillwalker The Beeches, Dumfries and Galloway Our cottage has an enclosed garden, and is located in a rural setting, on a private road with virtually no traffic. It is equipped with a cot and a high chair, fireguard, dvds/videos, toys. Less than a mile away is Cream 'O Galloway visitor centre - a dairy farm with indoor playbarn, bike hire, adventure playground, woodland walks and great ice cream! The nearby beaches are ideal for children, with plenty of rock pools and marine life to be explored. From the front door, there are lovely woodland walks and easy cycling. The field opposite often has cattle, and there are wild deer, red squirrels, rabbits and birdwatching. We have young children ourselves, so please contact us if you would like more information or ideas.
